• Prices far below every other local quote for the same date and size
• Only stock photos; refusal to show the bus class you are actually booking
• No written alcohol-free rules, cancellation terms, or balance due date

Fake reviews and marketplace theater

A wall of perfect stars with generic praise and no recent, detailed prom mentions is a caution—not proof. Cross-check Google and other sources for patterns about no-shows, vehicle swaps, and deposit fights in the current season.

Instagram pages can be real fleets or thin middlemen using another city’s photos. Match the legal business name on the contract to the reviews you trust.

Bait-and-switch vehicles on prom night

Students remember the gallery bus; parents pay for what arrives. Require recent interior and exterior photos of the reserved class, and written language about what happens if that unit is unavailable—peer substitute, discount, or cancel path.

A last-minute downgrade to a dirty van with no alcohol-free contract clarity is a failed booking, not a “still fine” compromise.

Deposit-only ghost companies

Pay a business on an invoice, keep receipts, and be wary of “coordinators” who only text students, discourage parent calls, and want the full balance weeks early to a personal account.
